- Remo Andreoli, PhD student in Emerging Digital Technologies at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (2021 to date). Formerly, co-tutored with prof. Dino Pedreschi during his MSc thesis project for the MSc in Computer Science (2015-2020), on a modification to MongoDB to expose differentiated latency guarantees to clients, resulted in a paper published at CLOSER'21 that got the Best Student Paper Award.

- Giacomo Lanciano, PhD student, joint Data Science PhD Program (2019 to date), currently spending his period abroad as an intern in Nokia Bell Labs (Stuttgart). Formerly, Research Associate, AI4NFV Research Project (2018-2019).

- Leonardo Lai, tutored during his thesis project for the MSc in Embedded Computing Systems at University of Pisa (2018-2020), on modifying OpenAirInterface to use DPDK for RAN communications, modifying its F1-U component to use UDPDK primitives, that resulted in a paper published at IEEE NFV-SDN'21; he has also been a honor student at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (2015-2020): now he is a Software Engineer at Intel in Groningen, Netherlands.
- Daniel Bristot de Oliveira, PhD student (2017-2020) in co-tutorship with prof. R. S. de Oliveira from Universidad Federale de Santa Catarina (UFSC): he is a senior principal software enginer in the kernel team at Red Hat.
- Agostino Mascitti, PhD student, Emerging Digital Technologies Program (2018-2021).
- Andrea Stevanato, tutored during his thesis project for the MSc in Embedded Computing Systems at University of Pisa (2018-2020), on modifying SCHED_DEADLINE to realize a partitioned EDF scheduler, resulted in a paper published at IEEE ISORC'21: now he is a PhD student at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
- Stefano Fiori, tutored during his thesis project for the MSc program in Embedded Computing Systems at University of Pisa (2017-2020), on modifying Kubernetes to realize real-time containers by using a hierarchical extension to SCHED_DEADLINE, resulted in a paper published at ACM SAC'22: now he is a Golang backend engineer in SimpleSurance (Berlin).
- Fabio Brau, Research Associate, AI4NFV Research Project (2020)
- Alessio Balsini, PhD student (2016-2018): after the PhD, he joined Google in London as a Software Engineer
- Fabio Checconi, PhD student (2006-2010): after the PhD, he joined the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, where he is currently employed as Research Staff Member
- Dario Faggioli, MSc thesis and PhD student (2008-2012): after the PhD, he joined Citrix as Senior Software Engineer, then SUSE as Software Engineer
- Juri Lelli, PhD student (2010-2014): after the PhD, he joined Arm as Staff Software Engineer, then Red Hat as Principal Software Engineer
- Andrea Angella, MSc thesis student (2009): after the MSc, he worked as a software engineer for HP Autonomy and Citrix Systems, among others. He is currently employed in Red Gate as a Senior Software Engineer
