Prestigious international recognition for Alessandro Biondi, associate professor at the TeCIP Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, who received the ‘IEEE TCCPS Early-Career Award 2023‘ from the IEEE Technical Committee on Cyber-Physical Systems.
The award, one of the most important worldwide, is given to young researchers from academia or industry who have achieved outstanding results in the field of cyber-physical systems (CPS).
For the first time, the prize has been awarded to a researcher from an Italian university. Alessandro Biondi is an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the Real-Time Systems (ReTiS) Laboratory. His main research interests include the design and implementation of real-time, safe, and secure cyber-physical systems, operating systems and hypervisors, synchronization protocols, design optimization for embedded systems, and formal analysis of scheduling algorithms.
