The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), in Brazil, are strengthening their scientific and educational collaboration through a new international doctoral co-tutorship agreement, dedicated to the memory of Daniel Bristot de Oliveira, a former PhD student in Computer Science and affiliate of the ReTiS (Real-Time Systems) Laboratory at the TeCIP Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, who passed away prematurely in 2024.

The agreement concerns Rafael Canal, a PhD student in Computer Science at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, who will carry out his research under the joint supervision of Giovani Gracioli of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and Daniel Casini of the TeCIP Institute at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna
